HOW to restore site after Flywheel upgrade

Flywheel failed to open so I upgraded to 2.2.0 pre-release for Windows. New upgrade threw a “Container Missing” error. I followed these directions to fix that: How can I restore a site from a Local site folder?

DOS error on step 6: ‘myloader’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Site not restored. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Hi @Dan,

Sorry for the trouble!

Can you please take a screenshot of Cmd.exe when you attempt step #6?

Hi Clay,

Here you go…

Hi Dan,

Thanks!

Are you right-clicking and opening SSH for Tale Development or one of the sites with the red warning? If it’s one of the sites with the red warning, make sure you see step #2.

Clay, the DOS command is being accepted now but sites are not being
restored. All the plugins come in, not activated, but all pages and posts
are missing. I think I’ve hosed one of my sites. I then made a copy of
another and stuck it in a different folder in case that one got hosed –
and it did. How can I make this work???

If Flywheel Local is this undependable I simply can’t trust it with any
future sites.

@Dan,

Prior to upgrading to Local 2.2.0 did you uninstall VirtualBox and/or delete the local-by-flywheel VM in VirtualBox?

Also, can you please provide me a zip of the site folder you’re trying to import? Just a heads up, your replies from your emails are going to a public forum. Make sure you send it to me personally (clay@getflywheel.com) or private message me the archive in the community.
