Every time my Mac updates, it does so at night when I haven’t properly shut Local down. This means that every time my Mac updates, something with Local breaks and I usually have to spend an hour or more chasing down the problem.
Software releases are becoming more and more frequent and are requiring less user action - meaning that I don’t know they’re coming, and they’re generally not noticeable since they happen when I’m not actively at my computer and the apps restart themselves - or, they’re supposed to.
I’d love to see some more robust protections against unexpected local shutdowns. I’m not a desktop app dev, so I have zero suggestions for how this would happen, but it’s something I think a lot of people would appreciate.
Thanks for creating and supporting this (otherwise) fantastic app!
