Migrate from MAMP

Imagine a simple function to capture, clone, and manage a local site from MAMP, and bring over all the settings from the database, as well as the files in the actual folders.

Much like InDesign who captured many Quark users when they important a set of keyboard shortcuts, that will be one less excuse for people to not switch.

I came from MAMP yesterday :laughing:

I think one of the things I struggled with to make the change was
a) MAMP was frustratingly “just working” but with annoyances and growing incompatibilities (SSL self signed) for so long
b) I really had to dig deep to find Local by Flywheel

And so glad I did because I’ve manually transferred my most recent projects to it using blueprints to help :stuck_out_tongue:
