Conflict with Hyper-V

Having a problem running Local. I get a message that there is a conflict with Hyper-V with a link to disable it and restart the computer. If I click the link, nothing happens. The computer is not re-booted automaticall, If I reboot manually, the problem persists.
I even manually stopped all the Hyper-v services, yet the problem persists.
(I did have xamp previously installed. If I uninstall it would that help?)
Any suggestions?

thanks,
Mark

Mark,

Sorry for the trouble!

Did you disable Hyper-V in the Windows Features panel?

Also, can you please provide your local-by-flywheel.log file? See
“How do I retrieve Local’s log file?” for instructions on how to do so.

Not sure what you mean by the Windows Features panel. I went into the Task Manager Services tab and stopped all the Hyper-v services that I could find…

Hi I am having an issue after de-selecting Hyper-V in the Windows Feature section.

I had the same problem where Hyper-V and VirtualBox were clashing. Then I de-selected Hyper-V in my Windows Features section and it started working again.

However now whenever I have an internet connection, my Local By Flywheel hangs at startup saying - “Starting Local Host” and just hangs there. However when I disable my internet connection, it works.

Please help as this means now I can’t download plugins on my local.
