I tried taking the suggestion here: [Windows] Help! I'm getting a BIOS error about VT-X/AMD-v during installation
But I don’t have that option on my PC. Any suggestions? Thanks. I think It’s safe to say I represent a bunch of dev on this.

My PC model number is: HP Compaq Elite 8300

I get the same error on my Asus Q550LF-BBI7T07 laptop running Windows 10 but I have checked Bios and it says that Intel virtualization technology is enabled so I’m stuck.

Having run into this problem in the past when using VVV as a local dev environment, I had already unchecked the box for Hyper V so I’m afraid it’s not that. Any other suggestions?

I’ve been looking into your particular device having that issue and haven’t came up with much. I did notice that it’s a common issue with the Dell XPS 9500 series. See my post here: Dell XPS 15 9560 VT-X not activated Error
The steps might work on your laptop since some BIOS/UEFI versions are shared amongst manufacturers.

No , i am not using any VMWare or Virtual Machine and i have also unchecked hyper-v in windows 10 but yes i am using windows sandbox ,it is a reason for not getting install local in my machine .
Interesting, thanks for the info! Based off of that, I doubt it’ll be compatible since Windows Sandbox and VirtualBox both require virtualization and will likely conflict.
