Re-import existing site

Continuing the discussion from How can I restore a site from a Local site folder?:

This category is for posting answers to frequently asked questions for Local by Flywheel. Only staff members can post in here, but it is viewable by everyone.

It seemed like this could be the solution I was looking for, but I already stumble on step 2.

Local doesn’t allow me to do it: Invalid Domain. [site] already taken by another site. Please choose another domain.

Trying to go directly to step 5 I get an error: No such container:

So I’m no step further

Right-click on the site in Local and delete it as long as you see the error icon beside the site. When you’re asked to delete the files, make sure you answer no.
