Does your Mac have more than 1GB of free space? If not, please try freeing up some space. Duplicate file checkers are a great way to start. I personally like Gemini: https://macpaw.com/gemini

Can you please try the following?

  1. Quit Local if it’s running
  2. Open VirtualBox
  3. Right-click on local-by-flywheel and go to Close » ACPI Shutdown. After a few minutes it should be “Powered Off”
  4. If the VM is not powered off after about 5 minutes, select Close » Power Off instead.
  5. Relaunch Local
