Adding non-Wordpress sites to Local by Flywheel

Can someone tell me how I can install a non-WordPress site on Local by Flywheel? From what I’ve read, you just have to install a new site like normal, and then delete the WP files, drop the tables, and add your static site files. This isn’t working for me, and I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error.

Yup, this is correct!

If you’re running int o the 403 Forbidden Error, make sure that you’re putting the files in app/public and not app.

Also, if the site is using the Preferred environment, you must use index.php as the indexes and not index.html or index.htm.

If you wish to use index.html or index.htm, please switch the site’s environment to Custom.
